i think our daughter is going to be a soccer player. the last few weeks, our little bun in the oven (a.k.a. Emily Sue) has been kicking her mommy as if it were going to bust her out of there! it's so exciting to feel her kicking and moving. just a few days ago the feeling transitioned from kicks and jabs to movements. sometimes i can feel her knees, feet, etc. and distinguish body parts where before it was just the jabs. we are convinced she's going to either be a soccer player...or an olympic gymnast. she is off the charts with regards to fetal movements (an over-achiever like her parents?), which is reassuring to us first-time parents. 10 weeks and counting...

I know Emily will be so much like her mom and dad. She is letting you know that in a not so suttle way. Just letting you both know who is in charge, remind anyone of anybody. God has blessed you and us and I for one am looking forward to seeing Emily grow in yours and Gods grace. GB
ReplyDeleteHA! When I was prego with Jakob, Jeremy would wake up at night to the bed bouncing. I'd be sleeping on my side, and Jakob would kick his feet down on the mattress as if he were jumping on it! She'll surely get busier until that ninth month when she starts to run out of room!
